He was born on the 15th of June 1959 in a small village(Roopwal) near District Chakwal. There was no electricity or water supply in the village and he had to walk long distances for his primary and secondary education. He was studious and hardworking from a young age and got the highest marks in his District and got a scholarship in the matriculation Exam.
His initial training in ophthalmology was at Rawalpindi hospitals, He did DO from Nishtar Medical university and then FCPS(Opht) and FRCS from Edinburgh. After that, he worked in the Middle East, Sultanate of Oman, and for 11 years. He did his clinical fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology, Oculoplastic surgery, and Squint surgery at Moorfields Hospital London.
After acquiring educational and professional expertise he decided to build a state of the art hospital in the heart of Islamabad. Naqaish Medicare, a premier healthcare institution that provides safe and quality treatment, is his brainchild. Sadly, he was taken from us on the 20th of July 2020 at the age of 61, right when he was reaching the zenith of his career and overlooking the initiation of his dream project. His vision was to live a life that was beneficial not only for his own self but for one that brought a positive and meaningful impact on society. May Allah grant him the highest degree in heaven and grant us the capability of carrying his vision forward.
